Whether she’s reveling in the weird and the wonderful, or creating space to honor grief, Ariela's work is a reflection of her internal landscape.

Stick around - things get witchy, weird, and wonderful in this part of town.

Welcome, witches!

Ariela Rossberg is a creative witch, writer, and artist in upstate New York. Delighting in the Celestial and Earthly forces that guide our lives, her work is rooted in creative ritual influenced by the cycles of the seasons. She approaches a blank page with curiosity, striving to celebrate the things that make her life whole.

Encouraging creatives to hone their sense of trust and embodiment in their practice, Ariela throws Bad Art Parties and offers individual Creative Alchemy sessions. She was recently published in Taproot Magazine and is the author of children’s book, The Gray Days.

Hone your sense of self-trust, explore creative ritual, and alchemize your emotions & experiences into creative expression.

Bad Art Parties!

Bad Art Parties!

BUT WHY?
Every creative journey is built on trust. It asks for patience, a willingness to make mistakes, and the courage to step into the unknown with an open heart. It’s an invitation to show up for yourself and your creativity again and again, and to celebrate every brave step along the way. Simply put: living creatively means giving yourself permission to learn, grow, and get gloriously messy.

Okay… so how does it work?
I show up with a treasure trove of art supplies — paints, crayons, colored pencils, sharpies, and more. You’ll receive three prompts, all intuitively chosen to guide you into a reflective and playful space, each with 15 minutes let go of expectations and create with abandon.

When time’s up, pencils go down and we share, laugh, and celebrate together. Sharing your Bad Art is never required, but rest assured - your work will NOT be critiqued. This is pure fun, designed to get you out of your head and onto the page, no matter how wild, silly, or “bad” your creations might be.

Bad Art is low-stakes creative play - and that’s where the magic happens.

Want to book a Bad Art Party at your space or event?

It’s time to create wildly, freely, and with fearless abandon.

That blank page you hate?
It’s not gonna stare you down for much longer.

Wait, what? Did you say BAD art?

Yep, you betcha! Intentionally making bad art is freeing as f*ck! You stare down that blank page, tap into your creative instincts, and let your freak flag fly. At Bad Art Parties, we celebrate the creative process, not the product (but I will absolutely cheer for everything you make). I believe in the worthiness of art, regardless of the talent of the artist. At every Bad Art Party, we delight in bad art, and we never critique.

Every Bad Art Party is a sacred space where vulnerability meets laughter, creativity flows freely, and joyful chaos reigns.
Release your expectations. Let go of perfection.

  • Welcoming & Inclusive: A judgement-free, playful space where everyone, from beginners to pros, can unleash their creativity without pressure.

  • Supplies Provided: All art materials (paint, markers, pencils, crayons, collage supplies, paper, etc.) are supplied - just bring your curiosity and willingness to play. Guests are welcome to bring their own supplies if they have things they like to use.

  • Creative Freedom: No rules, no expectations - just joyful, messy art-making focused on the creative process, not perfection.

  • Guided Prompts: Creative prompts are provided to unlock intuition and fun. Participants will receive 15 minutes of creative play for each prompt.

  • Creative Connection: After each prompt, participants are invited to share and discuss what came through during their creative play. This often facilitates meaningful conversation, discovery, and reflection.

  • Community Vibes: A safe, welcoming environment to connect, laugh, and share with fellow creatives.

  • No Experience Needed: Perfect for anyone curious about art or wanting to reconnect with their playful side.

  • Event Duration: Typically 2 hours (e.g., 7–9 PM) to create and unwind. Event hours can be determined according to your preference.

Creative Alchemy Sessions

Creative Alchemy Sessions

After booking, I’ll reach out to schedule your session.

Your session might include:

  • Rituals to help you shift creative energy

  • Practices for navigating blocks or burnout

  • Support for moving through fear, doubt, or perfectionism

  • Permission to make bad art and love it anyway

  • Guidance for developing sustainable creative rhythms

  • Space to name what you’re longing for

You don’t need to be “a real artist” to show up. You just need to be ready to reclaim the innate creativity that lives within you.

Where creative blocks become doorways.

Together, we’ll tend the in-between - the part of the creative process that
often feels the most tender and vulnerable, making space for you to heal, grow,
and transform the messy, raw parts of your life into powerful artistic action.

Tangled thoughts are slowly unraveled as we listen for the deeper rhythms that dwell beneath any resistance you’re feeling, and we’ll practice returning to trust: in your instincts, your imagination, and your creative power.

Come with your questions, your half-finished ideas, and your longing to create. Leave with grounded clarity, renewed inspiration, and a sense of empowerment.

These one-on-one, 60-minute sessions are for anyone who feels weighed down by creative decision fatigue, and is ready to reconnect with their voice, spark, intuition, and inner knowing.

I’m here to hold you through the vulnerable paths and unknowns of creative living, sit beside you, listen, and witness your creative process as it unfolds.

Delivered within 48 hours post-session, you'll get an email from me recapping everything we talked about, along with suggestions and guidance to continue nourishing your creativity on your own.
